Feed Me!
This past weekend was my old High School’s production of Little Shop of Horrors, directed by the one and only: my Dad. It was a great show and I heard many people say that it was the best musical/play that West Sioux had ever performed. And I agree. I’m so proud of my dad! And my sister did makeup and this musical required a lot of makeup changes and everything always looked great!
Also, I got to see lots of kids wearing the Little Shop of Horrors shirt I made. How exciting for me! As you can see, we had the cast party at our home. The cast/crew/pitband watched Saturday night’s performance on the big screen. And they often made fun of the recording. (I was in charge of taping). There were over 30 people sitting in our living room (not everyone who was there is in the above picture). Then when there were about 10 people or so left, they went downstairs to play pool. That’s the first time that pool table has been used in a couple of years.
The last person to leave didn’t leave until after 2:30. Don’t high schoolers have curfews anymore?

I saw that pictures on flickr and was very curious what everyone was watching. Looked like a Sunday afternoon at Grandma’s during a Vikings game…on steroids.

Thanks for your kind words, Holli. I wouldn’t have directed if it wasn’t for your encouragement and promises to help. Everyone loved your graphics and t-shirts (I’ll have another order of shirts on the way soon). Also, I watched your video of Friday’s show and it looked great!

Fine! My time to shine will be during Wrestling Cheerleading season – I’m also involved in that due to Holli pulling me into it about 5 years ago as she was a Super Wrestling Cheerleader with a super coach…MOM! I’m still coaching…

Congratulate your dad for us. I always thought closing night was bittersweet… glad to have a relaxed schedule but sad its over. I still haven’t seen this show though… shame on me.

Of course high schoolers have cerfews. It’s only the kids with the parents who trust them that don’t care when they’re home… (wink, wink, hopefully Mom and Dad get my point!)
