Scooby-rooby-roo

First of all, you need to know that I love cartoons. I really do. But typically not the old kind of cartoons (Bugs Bunny, Pop-Eye, etc). I really love the new stuff (Fairly Odd Parents, SpongeBob, etc). I can’t help it, I’ve tried growing up, but I just simply like cartoons. Scooby Doo is kind of an in-between one. It isn’t uber-old, but it isn’t like the new ones. It just…is. Anyway, I would watch it on occasion and enjoyed it.

Scooby SnacksRecently, my boss gave me a handful of Scooby Doo snacks, a cinnamon-flavored cookie similar to a Teddy Graham. Only 10 times more magnificent! I bought myself a box the other day, and I put a few cookies in a plastic bag when I come to work. It makes me more efficient. And more full.

What I’m trying to say is: They taste good, and I don’t feel like a dork for watching cartoons.

I still watch any cartoon that pertains to Batman and Superman. Used to watch Danny Phantom on Nickelodean. You’re not the only dork here.

I’m still a big cartoon watcher, but I’ve “graduated” (if it can so be called) to cartoons like Family Guy, Futurama, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and the like. Otherwise, I have a deep fondness for the classic Disney cartoons. I’m okay with the modern cartoons, but I find them to be too old for the kids who watch them. I guess it kinda bothers me how clever and adult-themed these cartoons are. Not that we should dumb down for our kids; it’s just never sat right with me. Hmm, I don’t know. Anyway, I had cinnamon and Scooby-doo, so you can have all the treats you want, babe.

I also enjoy Family Guy, The Simpsons, and the like. However, I don’t consider myself a dork because of it; since they ARE for “graduated cartoon watchers”.
