mKay?
I’m strongly considering becoming a Mary Kay consultant. Not as my only job, but just for some extra income… I get 50% commission as well as a 50% discount. If I consult a party that has $150 in sales, I’ve made $75 in about 2 hours. And I set my own goals, so I don’t have to meet certain $ quotas or hourly quotas. Also, I could gather a group of clients who would buy products from me monthly (with no party) that could bring in some steady income. It won’t be life-changing income, but it’d be nice if it could cover my rent costs each month. So if you want to have a Mary Kay party (yes, I realize most of my audience are males) just let me know!
Can anyone think of a reason for me not to do this? I sure can’t!

It would be a good idea. I’m not sure if you could make enough money to pay rent, but it sure would be nice to save money and make some too. Gopher It!

I’ve heard Mary Kay touches children. If you don’t have a problem with that, gopher it!

I can actually make an experienced comment. I use MK, though who’d of thought with all the makeup I wear. My best friend has sold MK for many years, has worked her way up, been a director, earned the pink car or $ equivalent. She has backed off in her MK involvement, and therefore is no longer a director, but she still sells and enjoys it. She says you make it what you want. So if you’re up for the challenge, go for it.

It is up to you. If you have time and enough girlfriends, it could work. With Mary Kay, I think it is really how much effort you put in and how much you believe in what you are doing. So I think only you can answer as to how much you’d really put into, although I don’t think you do too many things halfway. If you do, I lost my tube of cream that you put on your eyelids before putting on eyeshadow, and I miss it dearly. Actually I think my sister stole it, but thats beside the point. Family discount?
