Day 2: “I Will Follow You into the Dark” by Death Cab for Cutie
Death Cab has been my favorite group for a while, and probably ties with Cold War Kids currently. This particular song is really interesting because it’s kind of mine and Miles’s “song”. You know how couples have songs…well we didn’t for a long time but both liked this song and it is kind of, sort of, but mostly not a love song.

It’s just as sad and depressing as it is romantic, which is typical Death Cab fare. I don’t remember exactly how it became “our song” so to speak, but I made it your ring tone on my phone.
