Wall Decals

I know what you’re thinking, Mom. No, it isn’t permanent. Actually, it’s contact paper. So it peels off dry wall easier than dead skin on a sunburn! And it looks fantastic, just like paint, sometimes. If you want to see more angles and photos of these, view them in my Fine Art & Atmospheric Art set. I’d like to do more but am having some creative block. Miles would like to see some sort of burst behind the iMac. I haven’t come up with anything fantastic in that realm yet. I’ve thought about fancy chandelier silhouettes and lots of ornamental decor types of designs but haven’t found something I’m super excited about yet. And maybe that will wait until we get into a more permanent living space. Like a house. But here are photos of our apartment, if you get inspired with a suggestion I could do somewhere – post a comment with it!

Miles also told me that he’d like to see a decal portrait of Mike Billeter hanging up over the dinner table or right above the couch. Your call.
I don’t blame him.
On a serious note, I think those are really cool, Holli. I like the way the flowers over the table turned out. At first glance, they definitely look like they are real (fake) flowers sitting *on* the table, not stuck to the wall behind it.
I can’t think of anything else though.
Maybe a UMNL battle scene with the various ninjas fighting off the forces of evil. Like an ancient Greek mural. Yeah…yeah that should be cool…

I like the bamboo! So- do you have a laser cutter or a razor blade or good ‘ole fashioned scissors? Pretty sure that my teacher brain can think of lots of ideas for fun classroom details. Are you gonna market this idea or did you already steal it from someone?? :)

What if you do all the characters from Arrested Development lined up in our living room behind the couch, so it’s like we’re watching TV with them? Huh? Huh??
