Swing Show Poster
Friend and music teacher, Jackie, commissioned me to create this year’s swing show poster (and a greyscale version for the program) for the HS she teaches at. Poster – 11 x 17, Program cover – 5.5 x 8
I like the overall look of this poster, and think that it will stand out enough so that members of the community see the poster before any others and then buy tickets to the show.

Dude…that looks awesome Holli. Kinda reminds me of some of the random Dave Matthews Band posters in terms of the feel and the quality (although their posters tend to imply more drug use than these posters). Very cool though and I like the poster a lot. It also kind of reminds me of something you’d see on like a t-shirt somewhere. And the name “Dunkerton” is a sweet name.

And, yet, no one’s commented on the fact that swing bands don’t have guitars. Of course, maybe that’s why they’re burning it.

Yeah, it’s more of a Variety Show than a Swing Show. I’m revealing the poster to the students tomorrow. I’m super excited!
