The way the houses form this dark tunnel of repetition and the one tree can be seen standing in the middle of the mouth of the tunnel alone hit by light. It speaks of nature versus advancement to me. The man-made houses create darkness, yet the tree stands alone facing the light-filled sky unwilling to be lost to that darkness. Beautiful. Powerful. Striking. This picture is just incredible to me.
