Rent for Life!
Well, today it became official…Miles and I have an apartment for when we get married! We’ve signed the papers and laid down the deposit. It’s a two-bedroom apartment that was remodeled last year. The lower apartment is rented out to someone else (he has a driveway about a block away and enters in a different entrance in the basement). It’s basically an apartment building that has only two apartments. And we get the garage!
The living room and kitchen are very large (with a new stove and refrigerator). The bedrooms are good-sized and the bathroom is pretty small (though I hope to not spend much time in there anyway!) We even have a doorbell! And we’re not in charge of mowing or shoveling, which rocks.
I don’t know if you guys remember, but last year, I was going to live with some friends this year–Sara, Kensi, and Danielle. But then I decided to stay as an RA another year, and Sara and Kensi also became RAs. Sara is getting married in May, Kensi is getting married in July, and Danielle is going to live with me until we graduate in December. Then she’ll be moving out and Miles will move in after the wedding. It’s so very exciting!
